Slippers-boots "Bunnies". Master Class. How to sew slippers from fleece with your own hands? Patterns of children's slippers from fleece with sizes

We have a special attitude towards home shoes. Slippers are associated with home comfort, relaxation with the family, warmth and comfort for tired feet. Often they are dreamed of during the working day by ladies who are forced to wear high heels in the office, and those who wear boots or heavy shoes at work, and dandies in narrow shoes. For some, a symbol of simple happiness is a dog that meets the owner with slippers in his mouth. Slippers begin their history from the eastern harems, where soft silent shoes were worn by their inhabitants. In Europe, in boudoirs, elegant, decorated with exquisite embroidery, cozy slippers have become fashionable. Well, in the 19th century, slippers turned into a familiar and necessary item for everyone.

And in order to sew such slippers, you can take a special pattern for printing on thermal transfer under the cut. Its use greatly simplifies and speeds up the process and reduces almost to zero all possible difficulties and errors when cutting parts.

In addition to the pattern, you will need a light-colored felt to transfer the transfer, any suitable (I only had white today) felt for the insole and, my main inspiration for this week is a cork sheet. In this case, 3 mm thick. Well, glue, I liked to use Moment Crystal the most.

First of all, we will transfer the pattern to felt. Due to the fact that recently I have been asked more questions about translation technology, I will allow myself to say a little more about it today.

To begin with, we will need to place the pattern face down in the felt and heat the iron to almost maximum temperature. With a hot iron, we begin to carefully iron the sheet, not missing the edges of the corners.

In my opinion, it’s better to overheat the iron a little and notice during ironing that the felt began to melt (this is not an instant process and you will always have time to slightly reduce the heat, nothing bad will happen), than to iron everything with a cold iron and get a fragmentary translated image, the most ruining both the pattern and the felt.

We stroke the entire structure for about a minute, then cool it to a slightly warm state and remove the top checkered layer of paper. The picture has been translated.

Cut out the details of slippers without seam allowances.

Since I made the pattern as universal as possible, I adhered to the principle “more is better than less”. Therefore, at this stage of work, I recommend trying it on at least approximately and if it turns out to be larger than necessary, trim the sides, as shown in the photo. The size of the top and bottom, as a rule, does not need to be reduced, only if these are slippers for the baby.

Patterns for both slippers are placed on a sheet of felt. It is no longer necessary to take white, you can use any color.

And attach the details with a semicircular seam. Only along the top edge.

Now we cut out along the contour of the detail, getting a double top for future slippers.

Now we need a pattern for the insole. It is very easy to get it. It is enough just to circle your foot on a piece of paper with a decent margin, or just take any ready-made slippers that you find the most comfortable and circle the sole with it.

We only circle the insole, but do not cut it out. It turned out to be more convenient for me to sew in this sequence.

Now we take a double top slipper. We take two approaches, starting each of them from the middle of the toe.

On sour cream it will be very easy to sew the top. After completing the machine stitch, you can pull out the running thread.

Now slippers with an insole can be cut out, retreating 2-3 mm from the edge of the line. We do the same with the second slipper.

Now it's time to move on to the final step. We will make the sole for slippers. After various searches for suitable material, I settled on cork. As practice has shown, this is a fairly easy-to-use material, very light. In the sock, it is very practical, especially in the glued version. Cork has good shock-absorbing properties and even a thin layer of cork is sufficient to make it comfortable to use slippers.

We take glue and properly lubricate the bottom surface of the felt insole. The glue, among other things, perfectly stabilizes the cork, reducing its brittleness and preventing the possibility of cracks during bending in the future.

Glue the insole to the cork sheet. We cut it roughly enough, just to be able to put clips.

The cork is glued well and quickly, after the glue grabs tightly, you can remove the clips and cut the slippers along the contour of the insole.

You can stop at this stage of work or additionally stitch the perimeter of the slipper on a sewing machine. The cork is sewn very easily, despite the thickness.

That's all, slippers are ready. In the next photo, I tried to demonstrate that the cork glued to the felt is strong enough to bend.

The slippers turned out like this:

This house slippers idea will come in handy for anyone who has frequent guests. After all, sharing your home shoes with guests is not only bad form, it is also unhygienic!

And finally, this master class in pictures will tell you how to sew soft slippers. In such tapikas it is very comfortable to walk around the house in the cold season, and putting them on your feet after bed is a pleasure - not chilly. All you need is slate soles (new or used), terry towels (again, new or old), faux leather and batting.

From the tools you will need:

Sewing machine, scissors for cutting fabric, marker for marks, needle (awl), breadboard knife, centimeter.

Progress

  1. We cut out tracks from the skin, according to the layout of the slates.
  2. Now cut out the sides.
  3. According to the traces, we cut out blanks for the toe of slippers.
  4. Now we need to sweep the sole and sock from the blanks. We put the batting in the middle of the terry blanks.
  5. At the next stage, we are preparing a box for slates, the soles of the slates will be inserted into such boxes.
  6. After the soft parts are assembled and sewn, we insert the shales through the unsewn part of the back into the body of the slipper, after which we sew the product.

Nowadays, many people have problems with shoes, including home shoes. That is, people cannot buy comfortable slippers or slippers at home. But the legs after work or study so need rest. Therefore, we asked ourselves the question: how to sew home slippers.

And not just indoor slippers, but the original model. How to make slippers with your own hands in the form of Mice and Dogs - see the master classes. In addition, here you will find patterns for slippers of any size, from 36 to 45.

Such original slippers, similar to mice, are quick and easy to sew. Before sewing slippers, let's look for material for them. What can be taken as a sole: the tops of old boots or boots, leather from an old bag, fabric from an old backpack or briefcase, suede or thick cloth.

Take an inventory of old things - and you will surely find something suitable for sewing slippers. According to the principle of our master class, you can sew both children's and adult slippers.

“Ears” can be removed or made smaller and sharper - then it will turn out not to be a Mouse, but a Cat. Even a beginner seamstress can sew such slippers. If you don’t have a sewing machine, sew on your hands, with a “needle forward” seam.

For work you will need:

  1. A piece of dense fabric (cloth, denim, felt, drape, corduroy, and so on).
  2. A piece of leather for the sole.
  3. Foam rubber or batting (you can cut a synthetic winterizer from an old jacket).
  4. Needle, kapron threads.
  5. Threads for embroidery.
  6. Fleece or artificial fur for the insole and lining of slippers.
  7. Paper, pencil.
  8. Tailor's pins.

In order to sew slippers with your own hands - you need a pattern. To do this, we take our most comfortable and wide shoes or the shoes of a child, in this case a clog, put the shoe on paper and trace the sole with a pencil.

We take a sheet of paper and wrap it over the shoe. Trace around with a pencil and cut out the top of the template.

So, we cut out: 2 blue parts from cloth or fabric for the top, 2 white parts from fleece for the inside of the top, 2 parts from fleece for the insole, 2 children. for the sole, 4 blue parts for the ears (here you can choose from a larger and smaller version of the ears). Do not forget 0.7-1 cm - allowances for seams. In addition to these parts, you need to cut 2 parts from foam rubber for the sole.

We sew the ears - we sew them with small stitches with a contrasting thread.

Then we embroider the “muzzle” of the Mouse, cut out the nose from the fabric, sew on beads or buttons instead of eyes.

The ears need to be folded at the base as shown in the photo, and stitched with a few stitches. On top of our design we impose a white piece of fleece face to face. Then both parts are sewn, retreating 1 cm from the edge. We sewed the insole and upper together. Now you need to sew the sole.

We sew and stitch along the edges, stepping back from the cuts 0.7-1 cm. We leave the bottom not stitched - we still need to insert foam rubber here.

Then, turn the slippers inside out. It remains only to insert foam rubber or batting inside. To do this, we take our 2 parts, cut out of foam rubber using a stencil, and insert them inside the slippers.

Holding the foam rubber, we fasten the heel with pins and carefully sew the remaining unsewn piece of the sole. Homemade slippers, sewn with your own hands - ready. If you like it, you can sew slippers with different ears: with round ones - like bears, long ones - like bunnies, wide ones - like dogs.

Slippers Dogs - mk

The second option for self-sewn slippers is Dog slippers. The pattern is suitable for sizes 35 and 37. When you cut the upper part of the shoe, pay attention to the width of the part (it seems to us that the width needs to be reduced by 1-2 cm). However, everything is very individual - many people like loose shoes.

On the diagram, the 35th size is indicated in red, and the 37th is marked in black, the slippers of the 35th size have open toes. Do-it-yourself dog slippers differ from previous slippers in that here the firmware goes along the top of the product.
For work we need:

  1. Fabric for the insole (cotton, coarse calico, bike, and so on)
  2. A strip of fabric for finishing.
  3. Narrow ribbon for bows.
  4. Sintepon.
  5. Sole made of leather, leatherette, cloth, suede, etc.
  6. Paper, ruler, pencil.
  7. Scissors.
  8. Nylon threads and thread for embroidery.

We will start the master class with the manufacture of a stencil. On sheet A4, we outline the points of the pattern and draw the details of the desired size. Cut out a paper stencil. We impose a stencil on the fabric, folding the fabric in 2 times. We need 4 parts for the insoles. Please note the details are different.

You will get 2 parts of the left, and 2 parts of the right slipper. And according to the same pattern, we cut out 2 parts from the padding polyester. We fold the blanks as in the photo, in the middle - a synthetic winterizer.

We chip off with pins and sew on a typewriter or manually.

We sew the sole to the workpiece, stepping back from the edge of 0.5-0.7 cm.

Cut out 4 top pieces according to the template. Fold inside out. We make out the “nose” and stitch it in a circle at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge of the part.

We sew on buttons - eyes, we make out the upper cut with a strip of fabric.

We apply the finished top to the insole, pin it with pins and try it on the leg. If the depth of the top suits, we sew around at a distance of 0.5-0.7 cm.

We cut out the ears arbitrarily - 4 identical parts. Sew around.

Sew the ears to both sides of the top. Embroider the mouth with colored thread.

The product is ready. You can decorate the ears with bows.

materials

For work, we will prepare the necessary materials and tools:

  • Fleece in two colors (for the inside and outside of the boot).
  • Sole fabric (raincoat fabric, leatherette, jeans and other dense fabrics).
  • Insulation.
  • Pattern paper.
  • Cleaving pins.
  • Needle.
  • Threads in two colors.
  • Ordinary scissors.
  • Zigzag scissors.
  • Soap for drawing on fabric.
  • Sewing machine.
  • As the main fabric, you can use any soft fabric, such as velor or plush and others.
  • For the soles, it is better to put a waterproof fabric so that you don’t have to worry about dry feet in the bathroom.
  • If you plan to just watch TV or read a book on the couch in these slippers, then you can use the same fleece or felt for the sole.
  • As a heater, you can use a synthetic winterizer, which will not only warm your slippers well, but also give the desired shape to the product.

Master class on pattern making and sewing:

  • The pattern consists of three parts: soles, sidewalls and shaft details. We sew an inner boot. We redraw the pattern on fleece, cut it out with a seam allowance of 1 cm.
  • After that, we need to cut out 2 rectangles for our bootleg.
  • We chop off the details with pins with the front sides, sew. So we get two soles with sides of different colors.
  • Now, on rectangular fleece blanks, we cut off the seam allowances, connect the upper and lower parts of the product, grinding the back.

Important! Remember to leave a small opening so that you can turn the slippers inside out at the end of the work.

  • We cut off the resulting allowances, which turned out along the ankle line.
  • Now we need to attach the insulation to the slippers. Trim off excess material.
  • We chop together the lower and upper parts of slippers with the right sides to each other.
  • We grind and cut the seam allowances using special zigzag scissors. If you do not have such scissors, then make notches on the bends of the product.
  • We do the same manipulations with the external details of home shoes, leaving no holes for further eversion.
  • We glue the selected material for the sole with interlining. So we have to cut out 2 parts of the sole.
  • Now we need to cut out the details of the ears for the bunny and stitch them right sides to each other.
  • We twist the ears and make a neat line, retreating 5 mm from the edge.
  • Attach the ear to the front side of the inner boot. Do not forget to take into account the fact that the eyelet will be outside the slipper during the subsequent eversion.
  • We do the same actions with the second ear, we attach it on the other side of the boot.
  • Now we need to unscrew the outer part, insert it into the inner part and secure it with pins along the top of the product. We fold all the details with the right sides to each other.
  • We grind everything along the upper edge and again cut off the seam allowances.
  • We turn the bunny slippers through the hole we left.
  • Sew up the hole using a hidden seam.
  • Now we insert the inner slippers into the outer one.
  • In the center from the very top we sew our boots, stopping at the center.
  • We pull the bottom edge of the thread, forming visible folds on the front side of the boot.
  • We fix and hide the threads inside the product.
  • We make 2 pompoms for the tail. You can use the same fabric and stuff it with cotton or take a ready-made fur bubo.
  • Sew the tails to the back of the slippers.

Plain fleece slippers

This is the fastest and easiest way to sew fleece slippers. To work, we need fleece in two colors (patterned and plain) and additional tools (needle, thread, pins and scissors).

We begin to cut simple but warm slippers:

  1. In mirror image, we cut out 3 parts (sole and sidewall) for the right and left legs. Don't forget to add 1cm seam allowances.
  2. We sew the back seam at the top parts.
  3. Now we need to fold the details of the upper part with the right side inside the slipper, stitch and turn out. If you have an overlock machine, then you can sew all the details with a knitted seam.
  4. We fold the details of the sole in pairs with the wrong side inside the product.
  5. Now we connect the upper parts with the sole, and then we sweep and sew with a sewing machine.
  6. It's time to remove all the basting, thread the threads and turn the product inside out.

Hooray, your slippers are ready!

Important! To make a foot pattern, use the insole from your shoe as a template.

How to sew homemade fleece slippers with your own hands - patterns with sizes

Take the following materials and tools:

  • Special pattern for printing on thermal transfer.
  • Pattern for the insole.
  • Colored and light felt.
  • Cork sheet 3 mm thick.
  • Fast drying adhesive.
  • Iron.
  • Scissors.
  • Needle.
  • Threads.
  • Stationery clips.

Step-by-step workflow to sew fleece slippers with your own hands:

  1. We need to translate the pattern for printing on felt. To do this, lay the pattern face down on the fabric and heat the iron to the highest temperature. We pass with a hot iron over the entire surface of the printed image, not missing the corners and edges of the sheet.
  2. We iron the entire paper pattern for about a minute, cool a little and carefully remove the top cell layer. Now our picture is transferred to fleece.
  3. Cut out all the details of the slippers, excluding seam allowances. We recommend trying on the upper part of the product at this stage so that you can cut off the excess fabric.
  4. Now you need to mark the patterns for a pair of slippers on felt. Since the material will be on the inside of the product, you can take a fabric of absolutely any color.
  5. Using a semicircular seam, we sew all the details.
  6. We cut out our 2 parts along the contour, which will be the top of future slippers.
  7. We create a pattern for the insole, which can be taken by tracing the soles of old slippers or any of your shoes. It is important only to circle the insole, but not cut it out.
  8. Next, you need to baste the top of the slipper to the pattern of the foot, starting from the middle of the toe of the product.
  9. We carry out the machine line and pull out the marking thread.
  10. Now slippers with a sole can be cut out, retreating 3 cm from the edge of the line.
  11. We do the same actions with the second tobacco.
  12. Now we need to apply superglue to the fleece sole and stick it to the cork sheet.
  13. Cut out the slippers so that the cork surface protrudes beyond the edges of the felt.
  14. We fix the cork and fleece layer with clerical clips, wait for the glue to dry completely.
  15. We cut our slippers along the contour of the insole, cutting off the excess lower part that goes beyond the boundaries of the product.
  16. You can stop at this or additionally flash slippers around the entire perimeter.

Important! When transferring a pattern to felt from a special pattern, it is better to overheat the iron, because if you iron the pattern with a cold iron, you will get only fragments of the translated image, and this can completely ruin the pattern itself and the felt.

You see half of the part on the pattern, and you need to first circle this half, and then also in a mirror image. Cut out the resulting part. But remember that you need to leave seam allowances for all layers of slippers. Open the shaft in the same way. The synthetic winterizer is not used for the sole pattern.

How to sew slippers for children. Pattern for 16-18-19.5 cmHello, my dear seamstresses)) Today I will share my experience and pattern of children's slippers. As always, I catch myself thinking that I can’t just go and buy slippers for my child, because it’s so simple ... But I can’t do it inside)))), so I want to sew them with my own hands, besides, as a rule, this kind of thing is sewn from applied materials, that is, from what remains in small cuts in the bins.

You can sew slippers from old jeans, sheepskin coats, fur, fleece, etc.

I chose the following materials for these children's slippers:

jeans - on the sole
fleece - on the upper and inner part of the sneaker
synthetic winterizer - for insulation

In terms of warmth, these slippers can be compared with slippers made of sheep's wool.
Pattern of slippers on the leg 16.5; 18.5; 19.5 cm
On the Internet, I got this good pattern:

But it didn’t fit me perfectly, so I made another pattern based on this pattern for the size of the slipper I needed - 18.5 cm. pattern slippers will turn out perfect.

In order to understand what size of slippers you need - put the child's foot on a piece of paper, circle it, and measure the extreme points with a ruler. Slippers can be made 0.5 - 1 cm larger than the size of the child's feet.
How to sew slippers with your own hands?
First, let's figure out what these slippers consist of? I need three layers of fabric for the upper part of the slippers - this is the outer fabric, the synthetic winterizer filler, and the inner fabric. We cut out the detail of the upper part from the blue fleece, the detail of the inner part from the black fleece, as well as the detail from the padding polyester. In total, 6 parts should be prepared for two slippers:

The sole of the slippers also consists of three parts:

from old jeans we cut out the part that will be in contact with the floor
synthetic winterizer for insulation
black fleece detail for the inside of the slipper

Then mentally “split” the already finished slippers into two slippers: one external (made of blue fleece with a padding polyester) and the other internal (made of black fleece). First we will sew the upper slippers.

Then we sew the upper part along the seam on the back side of the heel:

The next step:

we pin this upper part around the entire perimeter of the sole from jeans and synthetic winterizer, joining the fabrics face to face

Then we sew on a typewriter:

And turn the finished upper part of the sneaker inside out. It is necessary to make sure that the seam is of high quality on the front side, and there is no discrepancy between the layers anywhere, so that the synthetic winterizer does not stick out.

Using the same principle, we sew the inner slippers from black fleece:

In order to carefully sew the sole to the upper part, it is necessary to baste or chop it around the entire perimeter with pins, since the upper part is cut in such a way that it creates the necessary volume for the leg, but at the same time the upper part is superimposed on the lower part with little freedom. You will feel it as you sew at this stage.

And so that the upper part does not warp relative to the sole, it’s easier to sweep, so as not to rip it later (like me)))), I’m not a fan of basting)).

Here .... so do not make my mistakes, .... we pin it off:

Now it's time to sew both slippers together. To do this, we fix them at the top point of the seam on the heel, and put the outer slipper into the inner one face to face:

Here's what should happen:

And now attention! It would be ideal to just stitch along this section, just sew three layers of fabric with one seam, but it wasn’t there ... because then the slippers can’t be turned out already ...

Therefore, we sew the open cut, but not completely, leaving room for eversion from any part.

We turn the slippers on the front side, and sew the remaining cut manually or on a typewriter.

This is such a nice result.

My child was very happy with these slippers, it was especially fun waiting for him when he came up and asked all the time: “Well? Are the slippers ready?

So give joy to your children and sew such cute slippers with your own hands:

If desired, it was possible to paint some muzzle on them with acrylic paint on fabric, or sew ears to slippers, or make a semblance of paws, I just didn’t have time, because my child immediately put them on and ran))).
